Classrooms, Meeting Rooms and More
Hearing Loops installed in the classroom or in a meeting room, where the speaker is wearing a microphone, will allow anyone wearing a hearing aid fitted with a T-Coil to hear the speaker directly, and be able to join in the discussion.
Schools and places of learning can benefit from hearing loops for multiple reasons. Students equipped with a t-coil in their hearing aid can be spared the embarrassment from having to wear special headsets. Not only can the teachers using a microphone be heard, but other audio sources from presentations and videos can be used.
There are multiple solutions for conference rooms and small meeting areas. Looping the meeting room and placing microphones on the table top would be the preferable method in the office. Other options would include portable units that can move from room to room or looped clipboards that the employee can carry with them.
